Kate is playing in the Avalon Mother's Day tournament again this year. Last year they took second place so it is a high emotion tournament for her team. AND coming off the huge state cup game on Wed I think that everyone was a wreck! They ended up trying 3-3 in a heated battle from beginning to end. Kate scored an amazing goal on a cross from her friend Kelly into the box, she had a rough settle and finished strong. Super exciting goal to watch! Now we have to hope the number one team ties or loses! Argh...joy of competition!!
