I have been waiting all day to put into words how incredible, awesome, amazing Kate's win last night was over the #1 team in Missouri but the words just aren't there. Sometimes the underdog does win...it gives everyone hope! Kate played crazy good (after she got her mouth popped open,ouch!) Her legs are bruised and cut, but her heart is pure gold. She knew they weren't expected to win, this was state cup play-in game against the best team in MO ( terrible luck of the blind draw in state play), but she gave 100% and never backed down and won 2-1 in double overtime. She is a beast and she grew as an athlete last night mentally and physically. Parents cant give their kids that kind of belief in themselves they have to earn it and last night she and all the Angels did just that. So glad I get to be her mom!
