And a few more because it really was so much fun!

So the fun continues at the Grizzlies game! I wonder how things can be so bad and so good at the same time? Enjoying the good moments!

He won 8 tickets! Who wants to come with us?

Wil got free tickets to the grizzlies games for his academic test scores! We had a fabulous time! It was Izzy the mascots birthday so all the local mascots were there, including FONTBONNE!! Wil walked on the field pregame in the MVP student parade. Then he also got selected as the only kid for a "pop-fly" contest! He caught 3 of 4 pop flies and won us 4 more free tickets! Wow!

Bottom braces off!

Ten years of service at Lindbergh, Wow!

And they call him the streak...

Free tickets to cards game so no complaints! We thought the foul pole was gonna be the story of the night, or maybe the 3 home runs or the Cards several rallies...but no, it was the streaker!!

And if his day wasn't exciting enough they had the awards ceremony for his basketball city-county championship. Nothing like getting released from the hospital, driving an hour and getting an award and new jacket before you fall into bed! Let's hope this week is less than exciting... Oh wait, he has a field trip to Cahokia Mounds on Monday, 5th grade celebration at Vetta on Tuesday, pizza party on Wed and half day of school and LAST DAY OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL on Thursday! Yikes!

Never have a mud fight when youre using clay mud from the cave, its full of rocks! Wil spend the afternoon in the ER getting clay from the cave out of his eye. Needless to say clay doesn't wash out (duh if youve ever been in a cave) and it took many wet qtips and a very patient mommy to get it clean. Very painful and no fun for anyone. They put dye in his eye and checked for scratches, just a few but none on his cornea. Good news! We follow up with a specialist next week. Antibiotic drops every day 6 times a day, ugh! What an exciting end to his school year! He was a trooper!

Our day at the creek started out so nice. It ended not so good. Full story later, everyone is ok though!
