Somedays (and weeks) are so busy there is no way to include half of what goes on in our lives. Last night Kate had her 13th birthday party. About 30 girls AND boys having a dance party in our basement. Sissy Kj was the DJ and from the numerous trips adults took into the basement it was a huge success. It was HOT and smelly but lots and lots of happy kids, especially the birthday girl! Hard to believe there are TWO teenagers living in my house! Weren't they just 2&4 in their matching dresses?? 

In other news...at my school the teacher (yeah me) flash mobbed our student during and assembly. It was crazy and the students went nuts! Sooo fun! Still waiting on a YouTube video to post, you never seen so many student cameras whip out in an assembly!! 

Usual weekend here dozen or girls spending the night, soccer, basketball, baseball, dj wedding, working concession stand...homework and housework and just another normal day.

No news on the job front, but thanks for all the prayers, we need them.

Soooo excited about THE wedding! Only 4 more wake ups until we arrive in the desert!! Can't wait to see Nikki and David on their big day! Fambly and fun in the sun!! Yeah!!!

Winner for Kj and the lady Flyers! 3rd place finish for the freshmen in their first tournament. KJ had to come out of the game because she knocked herself silly on a huge head ball. Big headache, ouch! 

Another game, 82 degrees! First loss for the lady flyers, so sad. If they would have hustled the entire game different story.  1-2 loss, Kj played great. Ref told her after the game "Number 1 you are a phenomenal leader, great talk out there." She never lets her team get down. Assistant coach came up to me after the game and said "Kristen is number one on the field and number one in our hearts" HOW can you argue with that logic?!?! Love being a soccer mom to three very unique players!

Another hike today at Rockwood, 3.25 miles. Honestly the most amazing hiking trail ever. Beautiful, scenic, rocky, cool...just all out the best, most diverse, trail I have hiked in MO. The pictures do not do it justice.

Spring break contined...Emmenegger park hike. Rocks, tree climbing, water obstacles, awesome views and snakes! All good until Wil got lost and then mom got lost looking for him :). Super fun!
