Kate attended her first cotillion dance tonight. She learned the proper way to dance with a boy (including all the different hand holds) as well as dance etiquette and manners. She just hated the look into each others eyes part! She was nervous at first and I wasn't but when
I got there and saw all the boys dressed up looking at her I teared up and had to resist grabbing her and running away! She was amazingly mature and calm and I was SO proud of her (ok and a little shocked at her maturity level!) She looked great and so calm! Awesome job Kate! Can't wait for next week!

When he is sleeping I can see all the soft little boy features that are not there when he is awake. As he Informed me, he is a preteen and he never gets to see me. He sees his teacher more than he sees me and he wants to quit strings because he never gets to have recess! I thought about it and he's right, life is too short, no correction, childhood is too short to miss recess. And sure, you can sleep in my bed. <3

Kristen, Kate and Wil ALL won soccer games this weekend! Wil won his basketball game and Kate won two Bball games! Throw in a Mizzou party and win and it was a good weekend!

Big sports weekend! Kristen and Wil have soccer and Kate basketball. Here is Wil Saving a penalty shot.

Lovely St Louis fun! 50 degrees one day 18 the next!

Fun fun evening at Chris' work party for Royale Orleans. Kim Massie was our entertainment, she was amazing as always. We had a great great great adult night out (even if it was a Sunday).

Wil won his first basketball game with his new team. It    Was exciting since they went up early but tried to give it away at the end. Wil had a solid game, amazing defense and second highest scorer. He played point guard and post! Though when you're tall but a great ball handler who knows what position you'll play ;). Kate also won her second game with Her other team. It was another rough game as a girl on the other team got a technical for punching someone on our team. She won by 2 points. It was a big sports weekend. Kristen cheered on Friday and worked the logo booth. Plus of course midnight soccer game. There wasn't one free minute all weekend!

Kate's first St Paul game! Winner!! It was a bloodbath, omg CYC LEAGUES should be a dateline special. The parents (on both sides) obnoxious! These are all new girls to Kate, but she smoked a 3 pointer, a few key shots and two free throws. Those girls are HUGE, Kate is really tiny, she needs a growth spurt! Nice job baby!

This is what happens when you're in high school and you try to sit in the little chairs at the doctor's office. Kristen is 5'7 and got 2 shots. She also has a lump in her ear lobe that we have to go to a dermatologist in a month to get checked. Wil is 5'0" and got 3 shots, migraine meds, Asthma meds and some other meds. Seriously why is healthcare so expensive? Other than that very happy for very healthy children!! Busy week at the Ohler's Chris got the outside decorations down and cut the grass in January! He is working on installing the ice machine today. The kids have been busy with cheer leading, basketball, and soccer. We are back to work and homework and the basic busy schedule that is our lives! Chris and I are also working on our health, we'll let you know how that works out for us! Kristen also picked up the drivers manual an has been studyin for her drivers permit (she has the daily countdown going). Basketball for me is in full swing. My team is 4-4 with 5 games in a row coming up. Wil's soccer team
Has a huge fundraiser coming up on the 27th which is taking up extra time and money (can you squeeze blood out of a turnip?). Kate is signed up for Cotillion and has discover rock and roll music. The girls are loving their iphone and using them lots at school for research, our campus is totally wireless and paperless. Needless to say we are having a good time in 2012 raising kids 11,12, & 14!! The weekend is crazy lets hope I remember to take pictures. If you're reading this I hope you know I love you!!
