WOW! Just went to my first high school cheerleading mom meeting. WOW! Ummmm yeah, some of it was kinda like a dateline special, but since I'm a select soccer pro I should be able to handle it! Kristen got one of her uniforms, but will have to wait on the other. Did I say that we paid the $130 deposit and got another bill for $845! Yeah, like I said good thing I am a select soccer pro and Chris didn't even cuss when I text the balance to him. Kristen did an amazing job with fund raising and she reduced our bill by $337!!! WOW! YIPPEE FOR KRISTEN! I am afraid to see what the cheer camp bills are going to be this summer if this was just for uniforms! And KJ if you are reading this mom and dad don't care how much it costs, you'll love it and have an amazing experience in high school. What floors me is that this is a public high school program and the costs are still outrageous. We also as a parent group will have to fundraise $16,000 more to support their activities next school year, needless to say I just signed up for a million volunteer activities!
The cheerleading adventure in high school begins on Saturday. SO if you are reading this please bring your dirty car to Lindbergh High School Saturday afternooon and have your car washed by our newest high school cheerleader, Kristen!!
Things coming up quickly...melanoma midnight walk and komen race for the cure! Look for KJ on show me St. Louis and on the main stage at both these events! I'll give more info when they get closer!
P.S. If you bought pizza/cookie dough from KJ for her fundraiser THANK YOU SO MUCH! She outsold the nearest girl by $300! ;). We expect delivery the third week in April!
