Prop L

Our school district is facing a financial crisis. As everyone knows last year was very disheartening and upseting for those that lost their jobs and those, like me, who were reassigned to other positions. We are asking our voters for a tax rate raise this November. Our district has not had a true tax rate increase since 1990, 20 years! I am going to restrain from giving my personal, very loud and definite opinions, but I will leave it to say that I have made blind phone calls to unregistered voters who have children in our schools and I have made personal knocks on doors and will do so every Saturday from now until the election. Just ask me in person how I feel about our school district and the teachers who provide the very best education in the state!
