Kate's winter party
is her last school Christmas party, growing up does stink sometimes!
And although Kristen doesn't have school parties anymore, she took
small stockings with candy and ornaments to 10 different teachers, her
class went to the movie theatre and then she performed her show choir
dance for her school! Fun day for all!!!
School Christmas parties
This is Wil playing heads or tails at his party. He didn't win this
game but won two others and was very excited about the bulldog stuffed
animal he won.

Happy 9th Birthday, Wil!
me. It is terribly cliche when people say that the time with your kids
goes by so fast, but it is painfully true! Happy Birthday, William,
you make my life and our family complete, we love you!!

Soccer and grandparents
birthday. Alhough we had a fairly light week, we still managed to take
them to breakfast with Santa and 4 soccer games! Wil played his first
ever indoor futsol soccer game, against 7 th grade girls! Although
they lost it was fun to watch them learn the game and they hustled the
whole time! KJ lost her indoor game, but they had no coaches and were
missing 4 players:-(... She will do better next time g and g are in
town. Kate won her first futsol game (and scored) and lost the second
one(she was just helping out the second game and had limited playing
time). All the kids were very excited that g and g came and watched
them play.
Kate
go to aeropostole for jammies, but mommy is happy she still luvs these
this year!
St Nicholas Day
jammies, Christmas socks, pencils, candy, toothpaste, a Santa for
Kristen, a snowman for Kate, and a nutcracker for Wil. Kate and Wil
were the only ones here, Kristen was at a friends and everyone else
was asleep. Wil instantly put candy in his mouth and Kate did all the
dot to dots in her book, somethings never change. It is still
priceless to see how excited they were this morning... Even KJ when
she finally got home was super excited, her Christmas toe socks an
Jammie shorts were her favs!

Times 2...
Kristen had another amazing game of indoor soccer! She was down 4-0 and came back and tied the game 4-4 at the end! What incredible second effort she put in, she scored and hustled back to make several saves...her coach named her the MVP of the game, never discount hustle and heart, cause that girl gave her all!! Love both my girls!
Championship game
and started a bit late! TOUGH game, 0-0 at half. Kate played amazing!
0-0 at end of game!! Overtime! 0-0 end of overtime! Time 5:00, sunset
4:49!! No lights on the field! OMG parents are having heart attacks!!
Refs CALL THE GAMe! Rescheduled for Sunday morning! They will play ten
minutes of second overtime and then penalty shots until a winner! My
stomach is in knots an Chris can hardly speak! Ahhhhh the joys of
parenthood! On a sweet an funny note while the refs and coaches were
talking about the darkness the girls on both teams were cheering and
screaming at each other and laughing together! They're all just good
kids! Love u Kate ( no matter what happens!)
50 bucks
small item of Emily walking on the field, oops).
AND then there is the discussion in the car where I am trying to
explain to Kate that she should take shots on goal from further out
because her legs are soooo much stronger this year and her telling me
no (because she knows everything and you can't convince her of
anything until she experiences it for herself! Please lord give her a
daughter just like herself!) so as she is pouting I say fine, if you
ever score from far out I will give you 50 bucks ( ok so not really
the most creative parenting technique).... Soooo what happened in the
second half of the game??? Yup, she takes a shot from FAR out and the
ball sailed through the air and into the upper left hand corner of the
net (no chance of anyone touching it)... She is amazing!

ten weeks! On to playoffs!!

Happy Birthday Selah!
stopped by and gave her a stroller and baby. She loved pushing the
stroller!! The kids would have stayed and played all day!
Kick the coach
got one shot on goal at the coach's behinds. It was hysterical and the
boys LOVED it. They are undefeated so far this season!
Soccer
does seem crazy that I am letting her play on another team but it was
important to her and her self esteem to have a team just for fun! She
had her firt game tonight and ended up tied 5-5, but was sooo happy.
Fun and fast game!!
Wil won one game and tied the other. He played goalie for a half and
allowed one goal ( a penalty kick, which he stopped one just minutes
before/ I think the ref liked blowing his whistle) but he had at least
4 saves, not to mention playing midfield the first half. After the
second game he had a full blown asthma attack and has had a few
treatments this evening and just fell asleep from a migraine. Thinking
it's seasonl allergy related but he might have a virus too, will just
have to wait and see.
Kristen won both of her soccer games today! She played out of er mind
awesome in BOTH games. In her first indoor game of the season
She SCORED and then played goalie and had two amazin kick saves that
were rockets! 7 th grade girls are HUGE and can kick hard!!! She
rocked!!
And we get to do it all again tomorrow! Yeah ( I think ;-)
