To say he had a good day today would be pretty accurate. Headache and heartburn are the norm and still lots of leg pain from the vincristine but the adrenaline from hanging with Cardinals all day was the best medicine. He hung out with the guys all day, helped the managers select teams and is working on selecting the rookie of the year. Today he had lots of time with Whitey Herzog, Dave Point, Ozzie Smith, and Tyler Greene. He has great stories to tell about all of them. Really great men. He even got a managers uniform and at the end of the day left it in his locker to be washed and hung back up, he thought that was even cool. We ended the day a few hours before everyone else because he was just exhausted but the smile on his face most of the day was worth it.

WHEN I POST CARDI AL PICTURES THEY HAVE TO STAY HERE ON MY BLOG. PLease do not post anywhere else or share... VERY IMPORTANT to respect the Hall of Famers and the players who are volunteering their time.

Welcome to Miami (yes I know u were singing it when u read it)

The first leg of our trip was kinda rough. Headache, heartburn and hiccups made it rough traveling. We had a layover in Charlotte airport, very nice breakfast for me (he didn't eat all day). Then lunch in Miami, South Beach. Horrible 2+ hour drive to Jupiter. But so worth it.

Tuesday nights meds....ugh . But in a good note he did not throw up! This is progress!

This is Kristen's buddy bead. She will wear it during her half marathon and write a child a note of encouragement and send one bead back. She will keep one for herself. If you look closely her bead have leaves on them!! How perfect for a kid who loves trees!

January bead! 😍

NEGU= Never ever give up program. Pretty cool how this family honors their child who passed.

There are still lots of good people in this world!
