Thanksgiving was a good day!

7th grade CYC city-county champions! Undefeated in division, districts and city-county! Tough game for Wil played injured and marked by 2 or 3 players at all times, VERY rough game, the refs did a good job. Soooo incredibly blessed this year! Last year he had three broken bones this year this is his FOURTH championship!!

This time last year we were NOT playing soccer so we put up our Christmas tree. So THANKFUL to be playing soccer in 19 degree weather for the CYC city-county CHAMPIONSHIP today!! And as a bonus look at the height difference in the kids a year ago! Today they are all the same height! 5'8"

LOVE this kid and her freshmen basketball team! Seriously how many girls can say that their mom is/was their high school basketball coach! What an honor! Incredible memories being made everyday! Luckiest coach in the whole world!!!

Wil received an Academic All Star award for his superior test scores. Lindbergh schools were rated number one in the state for four years in a row.

Wil's parochial St Paul team ended their season Friday night with a city-county championships winner! The team is made up of select 7th and 8th grade players. What a great end to a fun season.

One step closer...St Paul 7th grade boys won their district championship game this morning 1-0. Wil had a beautiful head ball goal from a corner kick with 2 minutes left in the clock! Unbelievable how high he got to get his head on that ball! Very very very exciting win!! We go on to the city-county championship tournament next week. Lets hope the weather holds!!

Freezing 32 degree soccer game for Wil. Lost 3-0 but SLYSA is over. They played up 5 divisions in SLYSA. The 8th grade premier division which is the hardest (not to mention 8th grade boys are HUGE) and finished 5 wins 3 loses and 1 tie. In his MRL (Midwest regional league) they played in their age division and finished in first place. In St Paul parochial he just won division and districts and is playing for city-county championship Friday. And in his 7th grade St Paul team he just won division and plays districts this week/weekend. Phew...no wonder the kid burns 10,000 calories a day! Hard to believe that fall outdoor soccer is coming to an end!! Basketball and indoor soccer will keep him busy!

Ok big night for me! Reception and ceremony to be honored by the National Merit Scholars as an inspirational teacher! Feeling very lucky to touch so many lives!

And ending the weekend with a District CHAMPIONSHIP winner 2-1! WTG St Paul Parochial! On to city/county! What a Huge weekend of soccer for Kate and Wil!
