My gym... Quiet and empty for a moment before second round of freshmen tournament tonight. Last night my girls  beat Webster Groves ;) sorry little sisters ! It was a fun and nerve racking experience!

Kate tied her game 2-2 yesterday vs an 8th grade team. Playing 8th graders again today! 

My freshmen girls basketball team won their first scrimmage game 16-8! Yippee!!

Can Kate play with us for a Thanksgiving weekend tournament? Sure ;)

Wil's team just won district championship! He is sad he's not able to play but happy they won! And for all who need an update on him post surgery, he was pretty much a train wreck!! The first 48 hours were great but then he crashed from there! Rough rough nights at the Ohler house. Everyone tired and crabby! Bushia came over and saved us a few times! Last night was the first night he slept 7 hours straight! I of course still woke up to make sure he was breathing!

Ewww so Kate had to go see Tom today to get a planters wart worked on. Going to need at least 2 more visits! I'm about sick of doctors!

Playoff soccer has begun!!! Three wins away from a third city-county win! Can they do it?? Game 1 tonight under the lights and it is COLD! Let's go St Paul! Let's go Kate!!! 

Honors for both girls this week. Kristen was nominated for Congressional Youth Leadership Council by a group of her teachers. We are happy but also surprised at the cost associated with the 4 day long convention in Chicago. 

   Kate auditioned for SLSMEA Honor Choirs and was accepted. She is already in her school's honor choir but this is a St Louis regional choir with a few select students from area districts! She will go to special training in January and have a performance. Great job Kate!!

Well day 3 is living up to it's previous nightmare history, ugh! Surgery drugs no longer in his system, swelling is going down and stitches are stretching. He hurts and I get no sleep. Plus he woke up with a snotty nose and can't blow it or clear his throat, call into the doctor to see what we can do about the nose. :(

Here is Wil at 4 months! I sent this to my sister Amy as her little guy is 4 months too and I think they look alike, except Jonah definitely is bigger!! Wil and I spent the evening cuddling and watching bad movies! He even ate part of a soft biscuit. He is doing great as long as we keep up with the pain meds! He was only up once last night.

Well it had to happen but Wil lost 3-6. Worst part is we were down a player and we have beat this team before. Needless to say Wil was a trainwreck most of Saturday night.   He won his Friday game and he also won for his other team. But not Cool considering he is having his tonsils out on Wednesday and will be off of soccer for awhile.

In other news Kate finished her outdoor season and ended up in 5th place. After a rough start to the season the girls finished strong. She starts basketball this week and indoor soccer starts on Thursday. She also had her first show choir performance for the senior citizens (which I missed)!! She is excited about dance team/Poms and is getting ready to perform at the first home boys basketball game.

Kristen has finished up football cheerleading and is moving on to basketball. She is managing the freshmen girls basketball team and luvs it. My team also luvs her :). She was supposed to start indoor soccer this weekend but it has been pushed back. 

Chris was out of town at budget meets for work (and lost at poker hmmmm). And I of course have started basketball!
