Kate LAST day at Sperreng! Next year she will go back to Truman which is going to be a middle school again! She had a great year and made lots and lots of new friends! I'm going to miss my girls/boy next year as all of us will be at different schools. One more work day for mommy and then bring on summer!

By noon we had 7 kids in the pool! Great memorial day at home all weekend!

We'll see if this works... After FIVE hours of set up we are finally adding water! This should take about 24 hours if no more holes are found...

Kristen's graduation ceremony! Too bad they had KATE's picture on the screen! Lol She's super happy and ready to party all afternoon with her class at Incredible pizza. Unlimited food and games for 3 hours! Wow!

Kate 2nd place! Kate went to an out of town tournament with her coach and they won 2nd place! Kate did great in the tournament and actually stayed on a cot in her coaches room over night! Big Kate!! Way to go!

Great day at the lake on Sunday. A few burned shoulders (mom and dad), but what awesome weather! Huge rock jumps and rope swing and tubing, awesome day!

Kristen's first round of GOLF

And here is Kristen at her first round of golf! She played great (ok how about she had a couple of straight shots  and didn't lose a ball or hit a tree, although she did hit a fence ;) She loves it and I was lucky enough to walk with her, my face hurts from smiling! Her coach was full of praise and Kristen said,"My Uncle Eric taught me how to play in his living room!" thanks E!!! Love ya!!

Kristen had her first official all squad practice last night and got most of her cheerwear! She will cheer at the parade on Sat at LHS, so excited to see her in her "poly" (yeah this new cheer terminology is gonna get to me). She is super excited, now I gotta figure out the "high pony with a poof and the bow at the end of the poof!" 

FOUR baseball games this week! Mon-Thurs! And two of them with 8:15pm start time, that is making for a crabby little boy (yeah he acts big but he's not, yet). He's doing great, 1 win and 2 losses so far. He was upset Tuesday as the got "mercy ruled", when you're losing by more than ten runs and they call the game. He always believes they can come back and win, I love that about him. Also it is a good time to remind family and friends that the Ohler kids have plenty of rough times in sports, we just choose to celebrate the positive! Life is too short to not enjoy! So if you're having a "mercy rule" kind of day, smile anyway! (((hugs))) to all!!

2nd place Avalon Mother's Day Tournament

Kate's team had a great tournament (up until the last game:).  She got pretty beat up this tournament.  Most notably going for a head ball with another girl and them both head butting each other and going down hard.  I have to say the other girl had a giant lump on her forehead and Kate ended up with a bruise and then a bloody nose. 

Yikes!

Medieval banquet got moved up 2 weeks because the tornadoes in Alabama knocked out the gifted trip there and had to be rescheduled. We are moving quickly on the gargoyle presentation!
