Table Rock Lake

We stayed at the north point of the lake it is a mile from where the St. James River comes into the lake, about 14 miles on water to the damn. This is the view from our deck. It was very calm and hardly any boat traffic. That is Kate standing on the end of the dock.
There were paddle boats that the kids took out every morning.

Kristen caught 9 fish off the dock the very first morning!
The kids were up early every morning and headed to the dock to throw in a line.

It was overcast this morning, but the view was still beautiful. The Ozarks are amazing.

Here it the cabin that we stayed in. It was small but had a/c!!Lots more pictures to come, when I actually get them downloaded to the computer!

Durango, CO

Ok, the reality of me actually getting the pictures together (from my mom and sisters as I forgot my camera) to post so that you can see/hear about our trip is slim to none. Basketball and school starting are already putting me in a time crunch, so just so we can remember here is a link to my sister Sara's blog with pictures and my sister Amy's blog. It was a great trip despite the 20 hour drive one way!

Basketball camp

I coached basketball camp all week and survived with a bruised heel and a jammed thumb. The girls came along and everyone had a great time! Here seethe girls in their shirts!

Mug shot

Kate picture for her SLYSA soccer application!

Drinks

We went to dinner with Bushia to a Chinese restaurant by her house and they served the kid drinks in these cool ceramic mugs! Kj had a whale and Kate a shark! Too fun! Even the straws were fun, a rose, apple, & lemon!

Gangsters

Ok so it is a picture of a picture but the girls had their pic taken at Silver Dollar City.

Fourth of July

WOW what happened to the week? Let's see...Jake was here for over a week, we did parks, six flags, city garden, movies, soccer and parties! Then Grandma and Grandpa Ohler and Uncle Colin were here Wed-Monday. Had a nice day with them on Thursday. Then Amy, Eric, Noah, Caleb and David, Megan, Tyler came in from Phoenix. And Sara, Patrick, Aidan, Emily, Hannah, Daniel came in from Columbia (do you see a problem with this senario?) Not to mention Bushia, Ahssha, Cori, Tom, Chloe, Blair, Kris, Luke, Selah, Nathaniel (is there really enough time for 3 days with all these people....nope!!) But we tried our best with little sleep and lots of go, go, going! Dinner with the whole family Friday and lots of swimming. Saturday was a marathon, parade in the morning, air show, late lunch at Hyatt, 3 concerts under the arch and then FIREWORKS! Super fun! And more of the same on Sunday!

PHEW!!! I want to do it all over again!!
