Orthodontist

Here is Kristen getting a good check up from the ortho! Uncle Patrick
cleaned her teeth last week and she got 2 thumbs up from her ortho!
She now has blue bands on for fourth of July! She is also wearing
other rubber bands that really had her in a lot of pain, poor baby,
price of beautiful straight teeth!!

Kid bathroom

KJ and I are stripping the wallpaper from the kids bathroom. Wanted to
have it done before company but it's not looking like it will get done
in time! Oh well!! At least eventually the kids should have a newly
decorated bathroom! We have officially been in the house FIVE years!

Happy Father's Day

The kids made Chris breakfast in bed. We spent the afternoon swimming
in Big Grandpa's pool. Chris is enjoying his evening on the couch
watcing racing and golf! Happy Father's Day to all the wonderful
"daddies" in our lives!

Summer is for swimming

Spent a perfect day Friday swimming at the creek! Have spent today
swimming and grilling out at Uncle D's St Louis house. It is just
getting dark and the kids are going for another night time swim!

Man vs wild

I forgot to mention on Saturday William had a hole in his sock. He
went to the aloe plant broke off a tip and pulled a string of aloe
with it. He used the tip as a needle and SEWED HIS SOCK with the aloe
plant!! CRAZy!! Said he saw it on man vs wild! It really works and it
is strong! Gotta luv that boy!!

Sitting on base

Yup, that is Wil sitting on third base waiting for the pitcher to be
switched out. He had a monster hit to right field and won his second
baseball game of he season! Woot woot, go Wil!

Kj went to Columbia for the week to visit with Sara. Kate and KJ both
took a two hour self defense course this weekend and learned lots of
great self defense tricks that I'm sure they will show anyone! JV
basketball tournament for mom 3 wins 2 losses and 1 tie. Chris had to
work too. Exhausted from the weekend!

Under the lights

Baseball under the lights tonight. Wil was catcher the entire game,
caught a pop up for an out and tagged 3 runners out and got a base
hit! Yeah Wil!

2nd week summer

Wow! Too busy to write as usual! Here the kids are putting up the new
basketball net. I have been busy with basketball camp and the kids
have been gym rats especially Wil coming everyday.

This past weekend was busy as well, the highlight was creek crawling
with friends and Sara's kids, who were awesome! Especially Aidan
jumping off the rocks and Emily floating down the river over and over!
Saturday night there was a huge neighborhood street party with
firworks and a live band. And Friday I can not remember lol!

We survived the GLarty (glee season finale) with ten kids having a
sleepover. The kids ALL dressed in character, Kj was Kurt (which was
hysterical), Kate was Santana (no comment needed she has the attitude
lol), and Wil was Puck (complete with a cotton ball Mohawk). They
threw eggs at pictures of Rachel (no slushie though:-( ordered Chinese
and then had a trivia contest with a glee PowerPoint that Wil and Kj
put together (complete with prizes). They watched glee and laughed and
sang and cried and then watched it all over again! It was too adorable!

Summer concert

Kristen sang/played "True Colors" & "Rockin Robin" and her summer
piano recital. Beautiful as always!
