William went to the Sheldon to see a program on Folk music this week!

Week in the woods

Took the kids Wednesday night to see a play at the high school.
Several of my former students and lots if Kristen's friends were in
the show. Scary to think of her having friends at high school! The
play was amazing, their largest ever and the kids did an amazing job!

Truman girls

The Truman girls wore their cyc championship jackets to school this
week! It was so fun to see them all together!

Daniel and the dog

Ryan and Ohler kids are having a great time! Even Sonny is loving
having someone his own size! Now to keep Daniel out of the waterbowl
(just kidding Sara :-)

Noah

Getting pictures together for Katelyn's 5th grade memory book and I came across this file of pictures of Noah. Have no idea why I have them in this file, but they were too cute to not post! We will be in Phoenix in 3 weeks and are SO excited!! Love you, Noah!

Tuskegee airman

Kate had a presentation today from one of the Tuskegee Airman. This is

Life as a teenager

Science Fair

Once again it is science fair time! Kate turned in her science fair
project today. Her topic was "Does color affect your sense of taste?"
When she tested three groups of 5th graders with white vs pink milk
(same milk with a few drops of food coloring) more liked the pink
although there was no flavor difference! So according to her research
YES color affects your senses! Great job Kate!

Missing teeth

Just saw on my sister's blog that Noah lost a tooth! Congrats NOAH! It is a big deal when your SIX! And it is a big deal when youre 10...Kate has lost two molars this week!! So much for waiting until she is 12 to lose them! I think she only has 2 more baby teeth to lose :-(...not that she will let me count! We will see what the dentist says! But I think she is more interested in the cash, five bucks a tooth is the going rate here! Outrageous I know!! Once again, it's good to be a kid in this family...

KJ also had her talent show tonight, I am going to have her sing her song again for me this weekend and I will post it! She did a fabulous job!

Sick days

Bad tv and monopoly... Just the right amount of sickness!

Zpac family

The kids are feeling great, I on the other hand am having a hard time
kicking this! So far Kj and dad doing ok!

Sick days...

I spent the 3 day weekend with a wicked head cold/sinus infection, got a zpac and am feeling better. Wil was up most of the night with a cough and Kate woke with a sore throat. No fevers, went to school, within 20 minutes of each other the nurse calls me to pick them up. Wil with a migraine and Kate with a fever/sore throat. So double doctor appointment this afternoon, my bet is on sinus infections! Ahhhhh the joy of parenthood continues...

William had his first JUMP ROPE FOR HEART celebration and for Kate it was her last!


Kate was the host on TIGERVISION at school for the morning announcements!


KRISTEN 13TH BIRTHDAY PARTY
Saturday night we survived our first boy/girl birthday party for Kristen's 13th. They had a blast and danced the night away. The house was shaking with the boom boom of the base from the DJ. There was a parking lot in front of our house at 11 when they had the last dance and then all the kids piled out to their parents cars, super happy, proclaiming it the best party EVER! She also made a haul with the gifts.

SOCCER
William had an awesome futsol game where he was up by 3 and then DOWN by 3 and ended up winning by one point, crazy FAST and exciting game! Kate had another wicked futsol game where she had one score where she pulled back on the ball away from another player and then toe lifted the ball over above 3 other players and the goalie to SCORE...amazing.

BASKETBALL
Kate then had a basketball game where she won 22-8 and that is when her coach (ME) told her to stop playing defense and stop shooting! LOL!! She MADE, yes actually made a 3 point shot! Totally awesome! Fun weekend to be a mom, even if I have a terrible sinus infection (yeah for Zpac).

VALENTINE'S DAY
We spent a low key Valentine's day. Kate had a birthday party and KJ had a soccer game. She won 10-1 and got to play goalie for the second half. We then spent the afternoon at Kimswick, looked at a few shops and then had late lunch at a German bed and breakfast. It was a nice day, spent with the ones we love!

Can you believe we have had him 3 years? He was 6+ when we got him,
wonder how much longer a gecko lizard can live? But he has been so
much fun!

Kate frustrated a few girls this weekend and here is the nasty result.
As a mom I am super pissed and proud at the same moment. She played
incredible, had 5 goals and 7 assists on Sunday alone. Please please
please don't let it be broken!

Wil sick

Wil is sick today. Not sure what it is. He threw up late last night and has a sore throat. Just finished a round of anitbiotics so maybe his strep throat is back. We fought off a migraine today but he is still white as a ghost. He has moments where he is his normal crazy self and then back on the couch. I wish there was a magic formula to know what it is!!
